The app finally hit home the idea that people don’t want to hand-modify. The Technic website and Forums gave a place for people to discuss things in a respectable way with hard-hitting moderators and at least the illusion of quality control. It coalesced into a team of people and began to pump out community-altering projects.
Install any of the flagship modpacks with one simple click or choose from thousands of community-made modpacks available on the Technic Platform. Choose from thousands of modpacks and install them with a single click. the launcher itself runs in java 64-bit.The Technic Launcher will get you playing your favorite modpacks in no time. i don't remember it being this much of a headache to just play some mods. there is no rollback option on his windows 10, and if there is then i didn't see it so if anyone can point me in the right direction, i'd appreciate it. There are no nvidia drivers to update, his laptop has an amd cpu with integrated graphics. 1GB of RAM and 2GB of RAM both showed nothing. this just made an exception error show up and nothing else. lowering the amount of RAM the game was supposed to use to 512.running regular minecraft(worked in 64-bit).running that one "erasejavaenvvars" script(not sure if that's the exact name).i'm pretty sure that log is from when i ran it in 32-bit mode. it just shows the game starting and then it stopped at "starting sound engine". Well shit, i checked the logs and there's nothing useful there.
Now i know what you might be thinking: no logs, no help. i checked the task manager and javaw.exe didn't even show up from what i saw, and i tried it many times. the launcher just disappeared (since it had disappear on launch on) and then reappeared almost immediately. Now, technic launcher would actually run vanilla minecraft in 32-bit, but if i tried 64-bit it wouldn't work. basically, his laptop is 64-bit, he is running windows 10 64-bit, regular minecraft runs in 64-bit from the minecraft launcher. i went over to fix it today and spent around and hour trying to fix it. So this is actually happening on my friend's pc. Maybe this isn't specifically tekkit related, i'll post this elsewhere if anyone knows somewhere for these types of questions.
